Inspite of that fantastic sail we had at the last one David, This years event is not on my to do list. But 'Markie' will be on the Norfolk Broads over Easter and on the Stroudwater Canal at the Stroud on Water Festival 2nd - 4th June.

David, I'm a Stroudy! I shall keep an eye open for you on the canal. You do realise there is only about half a mile of navigable water? Maybe a bit more by June if they get another lock repaired

Hi Julian, yes I am aware there is not much at the festival site at present, about 400m. But the organisers are confident (or over optimistic) that Ryeford double lock below the site will be operational, the sewer at water height 1km away will be removed and we should end up with at least 4km of navogable waterway. Time will tell.
