Apologies - this thread has got rather Ullswater-hijacked! a couple of pictures of Peg and her neighbour, Annie Elisabeth, owned by Jeff and Sue. I think her number is in the mid 50s. To be confirmed.

Hi Adrian, Thanks for the info. The marina looks interesting if we can camp there. I know the ladies would appreciate a jetty and it would save launching & recovering every day. I will contact them about a berth for a week in the summer holiday. Its too far from Bristol to come for a weekend though. What's going on in Torbay? I'm off to Poole that week. Paul

No camping at the marina, but waterside farm on the other side of the lake, between Pooley bridge and Ulllswater sailing club has camping and boat launch from a shingle slipway.
