New WB owner
« on: July 26, 2015, 07:50:28 PM »
Just want to say hello and introduce me as a new WB owner

Hello, my name is Gerold Bueschen from Wersen, Germany. A couple of weeks ago I have bought WB 120 "TWINKEL", ex PENNYBELL and ex GIGI, from Theo te Winkel, Netherlands.

Regarding to my families tradition ( my ancestors were seaman on their own sailing ships from the early 19th century until the late 1928) the WB 120 will be renamed to VROUW KIRSTEN as a complimet to my companioness.

Actual the Winkle Brig is in my workshop to become completely refitted. Some former building operations have to be reworked or improved.

I am very impressed of this great forum with all these experiences and suggestions for my work with this beautiful ship.

Looking forward to an exciting time with the Winkle Brig.

Life is too short to drink poor wine, waste time with boring people and to be far away from the sea!

Hello and welcome Gerold - any photos of Vrouw Kirsten - particularly of any rebuild will be good for other owners.
