Peggoty is a Winklebrig, designed by Eric Bergqvist and built by the Fiddlers Ferry boatyard.  She has a topsail rig, and comes complete with Mariner 4 outboard, Danforth anchor (I've not measured the chain and warp) 4 fenders, (I have an additional 2 large ones on a warp in suitable for a pontoon mooring,) spare fuel can, cockpit tent, original clock, barometer, compass, porta-potti, cooker, cover, roller coaster trailer, lightboard. I have never used the porta-potti or cooker, preferring to find facilities on shore and to cook in the cockpit. There's a large cargo net over the v berth for soft kit, and I keep a plastic bin at the bottom of each quarter berth for food, and another under the companion way (instead of the porta potti) with the crockery and cutlery. (included) I've included the games and mini tool kit I've kept on board
There's a depth sounder, which I have never used.

The topsides are finished in teak and bronze.

Peggoty is in good condition, fairly tidy but not concourse. there's always a bit more cosmetic work to do!

We have slept 2 adults and 2 children in the boat, which was cosy, but doable.
Some Winklebriggers  replace a berth with a cooking station or mini galley.

The boat is of the same character as the much dearer Cornish Shrimper, but despite being shorter, has a cabin that is arguably more useable, because the Winklebrig has bilge plates that draw up under the quarter berths, leaving the middle of the cabin clear, whereas the Shrimper has a centreboard, with the casing right in the middle of the cabin. Winklebrig #46 carries the topsail rig, (which Shrimpers do not) and this gives her a very full sailing experience, and very pretty appearance.

We've had some wonderful times, but my lads are teenagers now, and she is too small for us all, so its time for someone else to enjoy her.

In the end, I didn't manage to get Peggoty to market last year, due to a period of illness.

However I've now taken her up to the Lake District, and she is under brokerage with Derwent Water Marina. Please contact them direct if you have an interest.

Kind regards

Well we've had many wonderful adventures with Peggoty, but now my lads are almost grown, we're finding we're sailing my little trimaran all the time, so its time for Pegg to adventure with a new owner.

I will put an advert online shortly; in the mean time, please contact me if you have any interest.

Thanks

Best wishes all

Adrian
