Unfortunately, due to ill health,we must sell our lovely Winklebrig 106 'Cockle'.Pictures of her may be found on the WB site plus a google search will offer pictures and videos. She is in good condition with recently refurbished and epoxied bilge boards,6hp Mariner outboard,a good road trailer.'Cockle' is a late Mk 2 version with the higher coachroof and has the high peaked gaff rig with tan sails. She sails well and we have fitted various period brass/bronze fittings such as navigation lights, chain hawse pipe, porthole in top bargeboard etc.She was lifted ashore yesterday and is in AA Coombs boatyard in Bembridge on the Isle of Wight at an attractive price of ?6,500.We may be contacted by phone-01983-875823 or e-mail: robin.stringfellow@btinternet.com

Just to say thankyou from a newbie member to the crew of 'Sea Jade' for two new delightful videos taken on Coniston water.Videos of Winklebrigs sailing are fairly few in number and am planning on producing one of my own boat entitled 'all at sea!' regards,Robin.

Miscellaneous / Winklebrig 106 'Cockle'

Hi all-I write to introduce myself as the new owner of the above.I purchased 'Cockle', last October via Alex at Anglia brokerage and she was trailed down from Suffolk to Portsmouth-then onto the ferry to the Isle of Wight where she now lives.'Cockle' is being prepared for the Solent and I have learned an awful lot from the forums. The Winklebrig book was purchased and have read some of Pauline Rowson's books though not too happy about 'Nutmeg' being set on fire! Really looking forward to sailing her and she should be going on her mooring in Bembridge harbour in about four weeks time.
