Alternatively, would anyone like to measure their WB for the handicappers? I've attached the form pages in case someone would like to have a go.

Gilbert Hayward is organising a South West Gaffers rally on the River Dart on 10th August as part of 'Ditsum Regatta'. He has an annual gaffers race using the OGA T(H)CF handicap with 1 and possibly 2 Winkle Brigs entering. Does anyone know if any Winkle Brig has been measured for this handicap?

There seemed to be a problem with the "Captcha" code (the bit where you enter some characters to show you are human). I've temporarily removed the code so the Contact page should now work. If I get swamped by junk I'll find a way around the problem!

Only just seen your question, so it's a bit late to reply!
However, in case someone else has the problem next winter, I suggest you raise the bow further, so that the water drains to the stern where the bilge pump should be able to suck it out. It's worked for me in the past.

This boat has been out of water for over 2 years with the plan for it to be renovated.
The owner has now decided to sell as is and donate 100% of the sale to the Martlets Hospice.

Just read your post on the website..No wonder I cant quite remember ..its 9 years ago!.....you could try and tap one out and see if it moves...I may have drilled thro to weaken the pin before drfting it out.  Best do it on the bench and rebed with a squirt of sikoflex sealant.  At 75 the old memory has been damaged by years of Rum drinking. Hi Ross - personally I wouldn't try shooting Potter Heigham bridge until you are absolutely certain you can do it! It's probably the worst bridge on the Broads. 

Acle bridge is probably the most straightforward - at least you can see a reasonable distance through the bridge  to see what's coming at you!
