It seems that at least half of the rollers on my Indespension cradle have partially seized to the point where the spindles will have to be sawn off to release the roller. The rollers seem fine but not much luck finding replacement spindles. Anyone had experience of this?

Yes. I had the same thing. The rollers will last forever and the brackets were fine, so I replaced the rusted iron spindles with stainless steel bar held on with a flange at one end and a split pin at the other.
